Trade Program - Terms & Conditions
The Modani Trade Program (“Program”) is exclusively available to verified professional interior designers. Approved members receive access to exclusive trade benefits on qualifying purchases, including:

15% OFF or
-
10% Commission on qualifying purchases made by their referred clients or on orders placed by the designer on behalf of their clients.
Designers may use whichever benefit applies to each purchase. Benefits cannot be combined on the same order.
Eligibility Requirements:
To apply, the individual must be:

An independent interior designer, or
-
An interior designer employed by a design, staging, or decor firm.
The Program is not available to real estate professionals, brokers, architects, or any other professions outside interior design.
Required Documentation (upload any 2):

Valid membership in a recognized interior design organization (ASID, IIDA, etc.)

Business License or Resale Certificate
-
Business card identifying interior design profession
Modani may request additional documentation or original copies for verification.
Applicants must apply as individuals — companies and entities cannot be enrolled.

Approval is at Modani’s sole discretion.

Approved designers will receive a confirmation email within 7 business days.

The approval date serves as the official membership start date.

Gift card purchases

Out-of-box, clearance, “as-is,” or floor display items

Shipping fees, taxes, or service charges

Discount is available in all U.S. Modani stores and online at Modani.com.
10% Commission
Commission applies to:
-
Purchases made by referred clients, and
-
Purchases placed directly by the designer on behalf of their clients
Commission is calculated on the pre-tax, pre-delivery fee merchandise subtotal.
Payment Terms:

Issued by check only
-
Paid within 30 days after delivery and verification
-
Commission cannot be combined with the 15% discount on the same transaction
Conditions & Limitations:
Only the approved designer may use the trade account benefits.
Misuse may result in immediate termination. Misuse includes but is not limited to:
- Sharing benefits with unauthorized individuals
- Reselling discounted merchandise
- Submitting fraudulent or misleading information
Program eligibility is non-transferable.
Incomplete applications will not be approved.Program benefits have no cash value.
For in-store purchases using trade benefits the designer must present their registered email and government-issued photo ID.
Modani Rights & Program Changes:
Modani may modify, expand, restrict, or terminate the Trade Program — including benefit structures and eligibility criteria — at any time, with or without prior notice, at its sole discretion.
